Weird Incidences When Working for Bank of Lancaster County

By V Hu

All the bad luck I encountered is not coincident, but related to mind control experiments and persecutions.

In 2003, during my college years in Millersville University, I located a part time job, working as a teller in Bank of Lancaster County of Sterling Financial Corp. in Pennsylvania. The company valued new employees very much that had an experienced trainer taught us banking theories, and then arranged us to practice in simulated operation processes. I did pretty well in all training sessions. After the training, all trainees were assigned to different branches to work. If everything went smoothly, I would continue to work for this bank after I had graduated from the college. I would have the opportunity to become an IT specialist if I could continue to work for this bank since my major study in the college was Computer Science. So I tried my very best to complete earnestly every little task I was assigned to.

One thing worth mention is that during the training, among many female trainees, there were only couple male trainees. One of them was a short young guy named Steven. He had round face with pointed chin and slit eyes, looking like Korean or Japanese. The trainer told us that he was a son of one top level manager. At the end of the training, he was asked to draw lots to pick trainees to receive a small present. He drew two times. On the 2nd draw, I won a promotional water bottle printed with company’s logo. After meeting with Maggie Li’s boyfriend, Bobby Li early 2008, I realized that Steven and Bobby Li were like identical twins.

At first I was arranged to work in the Lampeter Road branch. Rarely did I have an imbalance of less than 20cents at the end of a day’s work. Everything went well. I got along well with Joan, the supervisor; Susan, the head teller and other colleagues and was pretty happy.

One thing worth mention is that before I was transferred to Fruitville branch, there was a district manager spot checked the Lampeter Road branch. She had round face with pointed chin, round eyes with double eyelids and black short hair. After I had worked at Fruitville branch for a while, she visited the Fruitville branch as well.

In 2006, after I moved to Baltimore County and started working for AAI Corp. I got to know Elena Zhang. In her house warming party, I met Kaiying Duh. Kaiying’s hair style was almost same as this district manager’s. The weirdest thing is that each time when I hung out with Kaiying, shopping or gathering, there was one middle aged woman looked very much like this district manager, stout with round face, pointed chin, round eyes with double eyelids and black short hair appeared around us, i.e. she sat at the table beside ours when we had lunch gathering in the restaurant named Hunan Taste; she stood inside a store, when we were shopping clothes there…

There was similar looking woman working in the logistic department of AAI Corp. as well. She visited us when I first time traveled to a navy base with several colleagues. She took some pictures for us at the base.

One day without any request, she brought a guy (looked like a security guard standing a little distance from us in front of Parliament building in Washington DC while we were attending the July 4th celebration concert in 2010) to change the light bulb above the entrance of my working cubicle in front of the lab room SKUNK on the 2nd floor. The original light bulb was dim. They switched it to a very bright one. The bright light hit on my monitor’s screen and dazzled my eyes. Feeling extremely uncomfortable with my eyes, I had called her to switch back to the original light bulb.

2009/8/7, I visited Johns Hopkins Green Spring station for Gynecological examination.  A stout middle aged white woman doctor with round face, pointed chin, round eyes with double eyelids and black short hair, looked just like the district manager of Bank of Lancaster County came in the examining room with a black woman nurse. Before making an appointment, I searched the gynecologists online and chose Carroll Celentano, MS CNM, an old aged, rectangular faced, white haired, amiable woman doctor for the examination. Obviously the gynecologist came to the examining room was not the one I made appointment with. I worried a little lit, but comforted myself that it might be an emergency situation and the hospital was well known, and it shouldn’t be a big deal. During the examination, the woman doctor asked me if I knew anyone working in the hospital. I replied her that I didn’t. However couple days later I received the report in mail with the signature of C. Celentano.

2012/1/11, I went to Johns Hopkins Green Spring station for Gynecological examination again. This time Dr. Carroll Celentano herself came to the examining room.  I handed the previous examination report to her. She stared with a puzzled look at the paper for a while. She had never met me before. The report for this examination mailed to me couple days later had the signature of Carroll Celentano. The handwriting was different than the one on the previous report.

AAI Corp.

Celentano。

After transferring to the Fruitville branch, I felt ok at first, and then experienced many weird things. Eventually I had to quit the job.

One day a little over noon time, Jodi Greiner, the supervisor came to the branch. She examined the transaction slips I handled through the morning. She told me that I missed one slip for one transaction and asked me to fill one out and give it to her. I did as she requested. Oddly next morning I received the error notice for this transaction from the audit department. If I hadn’t added the slip the supervisor requested, I wouldn’t have this error. In order to correct the error, I had to fill another transaction slip to balance the amount which was doubled (it was 100 originally, became 200). I did as requested. Then the next day, another error notice for the same transaction came in. I had to fill another slip with the double amount (400) to balance the transaction. However it was eventually resolved. But I felt questionable about the whole thing.

End of every day’s work, every teller must counting the cash on hand, verify if it’s balanced, report the amount to the supervisor so she could fill it on the ledger. Next workday this amount would be used as the starting cash amount. We as teller, especially the part-time tellers normally would ask the supervisor about the previous workday’s cash balance on the ledger for the current day’s balancing process because we didn’t work every day. One day I got the previous cash balance from the supervisor and verify the whole day’s transactions and couldn’t get balanced. Same time I couldn’t locate any transaction error. Then I remembered that I jotted down the number on a small piece of paper. I looked through my cash drawer and my handbag and found the note. The number I wrote down was different than the number that the supervisor gave me. I showed it to the supervisor. She checked around the ledgers and other documents, and then confirmed that the number I jotted down was correct. I used this number as my starting cash amount and calculated the current day’s transactions and got balanced. I felt relieved. From that day on, I always wrote down the cash balance on a piece of paper.

The bank started an incentive program, i.e. if making no any mistake for whole week, a teller would receive a star and etc. Then things started getting weird that cash in my drawer became excess or short in a weird amount for several times when it was counted end of workday. I had been handling cash really carefully and had never made such mistakes before. One time one customer came in to withdraw $100 in one dollar bills. I took a bundle of one dollar bills and placed them on a money counter to count twice. The amount was exactly $100. Stacyia Bell, the manager was standing beside and praised me for this.

One Saturday, we worked until noon and started the balancing process. I noticed that there was $5 excess. I counted several times and got the same result. Then I asked Connie, a full time teller to help me verify the amount. She counted couple times and got the same result. I took the amount of $5 out and gave it to the duty manager because Jodi, the supervisor was not on duty that day. Also I left the voice message about this case on Jodi’s cell phone. Other colleagues were rushing to finish the work and go home. I wasted a lot of time on counting cash, and in a hurry, I forgot to lock the cash drawer to the safe. I realized that until I drove out for a little of distance. I drove back right away and placed the drawer to the safe. The oddest thing happened that on the next workday, when I was balancing the cash I noticed that there was $5 short.

Another Saturday, Melissa and I were on duty. I noticed that the cash in my drawer was $100 short during the balancing process. Before she was informed, Melissa looked at me in a weird way and asked me if it was $100 short. I was shocked that how she could know the shortage in the exact amount. Since transferring to the Fruitville branch, I had encountered many times that Melissa’s cash was short and the amount was huge. Once during the supervisor’s vacation, her cash was $700 short. During working in the Lampeter branch, I had never seen anyone had such big amount of cash missing. I scented something peculiar. Each time when receiving or giving out cash, I would count it very carefully at least twice.  End of a working day, there might be couple pennies or dimes short or excess, but I would never miscount $100.

I knew any teller’s cash drawer could be opened by the combination of two tellers’ keys. In such short time, the cash in my drawer suddenly was short one time, and then excess another time, also always happened after Friday, must be tampered by someone. At the end of next workday, after locking the drawer in the safe, I added another mini lock behind the original lock. If not examining very closely, one wouldn’t notice it. Of course if someone wanted to open my drawer, he/she definitely would encounter it. Next day, the supervisor called me and asked me to take the mini lock out. On the day I went back to work, the supervisor told me they’d broken the mini lock, counted the cash inside the drawer, and there was $20 short in cash. With her witness, I counted the cash in my drawer. The cash amount was exact same as the balanced amount reported end of the previous work and there was no short.

That day Jodi, the supervisor took me to discuss the matter with Stacia Bell, the manager. I talked about the excess and short of cash in my drawer. Jodi replied that all those cases had been resolved. But she didn’t explain the key point, why those had happened and how those had happened.

I was almost sure that if I continued to work there, the cash in my drawer would be missing not only $100. I couldn’t afford to bear the loss. I quit the job. In fact at the moment I decided to add a mini lock on the drawer, making the case bigger, I had already prepared to quit the job. No matter how desperately I needed to grasp this career opportunity, when there were people stabbing me in the back and I couldn’t explain it clearly myself, I had to take big action to draw attention from everyone in a setup, and eventually stop the pests harming me and others.
